IT IS ALL ABOUT FEELING THAT YOU BELONG
When we think about getting older and the move to an aged care facility, the first thing that comes to mind is "grey hair, wrinkled skin, memory loss, weakness, frailty, and an overall loss of independence"
Positive Ageing should be a process of feeling good about yourself, keeping fit and healthy, and engaging fully in life as you age. Keeping a positive attitude toward ageing is particularity important as it allows you to continue to feel good about yourself and have a sense of control as you face another part of your life cycle.

The Positive Ageing photographic Project is a series of images to showcase life in residential Aged Care Facilities. Now is is time to start a constructive conversation and help reduce ageism and to counteract the negative perceptions many people have about ageing and the elderly in residential Aged Care Facilities.
